The On x PAF collaboration returns with a new chapter that understands running as something beyond performance. Under the name Current Form 4.0, the Swiss brand and Post Archive Faction explore movement as a form of metamorphosis: from a body under tension to a body at ease, from speed to stillness, from pure technique to a new aesthetic sensibility.

On: Swiss technology designed to move better
Founded in 2010 in the Swiss Alps, On was born from a clear idea: to rethink the running experience through innovation. From its earliest prototypes, the brand has built its identity around a precise vision of movement, combining engineering, functional design, and an instantly recognizable aesthetic.
Its CloudTec® technology, based on cushioning structures that compress to soften impact and enhance propulsion, has become one of the brand’s most distinctive signatures. From there, On has developed a universe that extends far beyond running: footwear, apparel, and accessories designed for performance, outdoor pursuits, training, tennis, and everyday wear.
Models such as the Cloudmonster, Cloudventure, Cloudsurfer, and Cloudboom have cemented the brand’s place in the global performance conversation, while its ability to connect sport, design, and contemporary culture has also brought it closer to the world of fashion. That’s where collaborations like On x PAF make perfect sense: when technology stops being invisible and becomes a visual language.
On x PAF: Current Form 4.0
The new On x PAF collection continues the dialogue between On’s sports engineering and the experimental vision of Post Archive Faction. Founded in Seoul in 2018 by Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong, PAF has distinguished itself by challenging traditional design codes through deconstructed garments, asymmetric cuts, technical panels, and an almost architectural approach to clothing.
In Current Form 4.0, that sensibility moves into the world of running through a narrative inspired by the metamorphosis of a moth: from cocoon to flight, from stillness to motion. The campaign, built around the concept of Chase Stillness, connects body and mind to present running as a process of personal and physical transformation.
At the center of the collection is the Cloudboom Volt PAF, a silhouette developed alongside POST ARCHIVE FACTION that translates this idea of evolution into a technically sophisticated and visually precise construction. Its upper combines complex overlays with an integrated wraparound structure, creating an effect reminiscent of the moment a moth breaks free from its cocoon. The Helion midsole provides cushioning and energy return, while the combination of textile and mesh enhances breathability. Available in the White/Gale and Ember/Pebble colorways, the sneaker embodies the central tension of the collaboration: athletic performance, experimental design, and a poetic interpretation of movement.
Alongside the footwear, the collection includes high-performance apparel and accessories reinterpreted through PAF’s avant-garde language: the Zero Jacket, Zero Singlet, Zero 2-in-1 Shorts, Running-T, Run Belt, Zero Cap, and Run Socks. Pieces created for running, but also conceived as part of a visual system where every layer, texture, and cut reflects an idea of constant evolution.
The new On x PAF collaboration arrives at SVD on June 25. Stay tuned.
